Avalon was written by Bryan Ferry and released in 1982 as the title track of Avalon by Roxy Music. The song became one of the defining recordings of the band’s later period, shaped by its atmospheric production and restrained vocal performance. Over time it has remained closely associated with the dreamlike and sophisticated sound that defined the Avalon era and the final phase of Roxy Music’s studio work. This performance is presented with voice and acoustic guitar. Song: Avalon Written by: Bryan Ferry (1982) Performance: Jason Paul, voice & guitar
