“I Don’t Know Why (I Just Do)” was written in 1931 by Fred Ahlert (music) and Roy Turk (lyrics). First recorded by Bing Crosby, it became a popular standard throughout the 1930s and beyond. The song was later performed by legends including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, and The Platters, each bringing their own style to this tender ballad. Here, Jason Paul performs “I Don’t Know Why” with acoustic guitar and voice, offering a stripped-down interpretation of this classic standard. 👉 Q: Which version of “I Don’t Know Why” do you know?
