Lyrics and chords
DRock of Ages, Gcleft for Dme,
let me hide myAself in DThee
Let the Awater A7and the Dblood,
from Thy Awounded A7side which Dflowed
Be of sin the Gdouble Dcure;
save from wrath and Amake A7me Dpure.
DNot the labors Gof my Dhands,
can fulfill Thy Alaw's deDmands
Could my Azeal no A7respite Dknow,
could my Atears forA7ever Dflow
All for sin could Gnot aDtone;
Thou must save, and AThou A7a Dlone.
DNothing in my Ghand I Dbring,
simply to the Across I Dcling
Naked, Acome to A7Thee for Ddress;
helpless, Alook to A7Thee for Dgrace
Foul, I to the Gfountain Dfly;
wash me, Savior, Aor A7I Ddie.
DWhile I draw this Gfleeting Dbreath,
when mine eyes shall Aclose in Ddeath
When I Asoar to A7worlds unDknown,
see AThee on Thy A7judgment Dthrone
Rock of Ages, Gcleft for Dme,
let me hide myAself A7in DThee.
