“I Only Have Eyes for You” was written in 1934 by Harry Warren (music) and Al Dubin (lyrics) for the Warner Bros. musical Dames. The song became an instant hit and has remained one of the most enduring love ballads in the American Songbook. Over the years, countless artists have recorded it – from Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday to The Flamingos, whose 1959 doo-wop version gave the tune new life and is often ranked among the greatest vocal group recordings of all time. Here, Jason Paul performs “I Only Have Eyes for You” with acoustic guitar and voice, offering a stripped-down interpretation of this timeless classic. 👉 Q: Which movie first featured “I Only Have Eyes for You”?
