Thank You was written by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant and released in 1969 on the second Led Zeppelin II album. Amid the heavier blues and hard rock material surrounding it, the song stood apart for its gentleness and devotion. Over time it has remained one of the band’s most enduring ballads, with acoustic interpretations often bringing forward the simplicity of the writing beneath the original production. This performance is presented with voice and acoustic guitar. Song: Thank You Written by: Jimmy Page & Robert Plant (1969) Performance: Jason Paul, voice & guitar
